And so it begins

I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while. My problem was, I couldn’t think of a good reason to begin. What was so exciting in my life that other people would want to read about it? Well I decided if I kept waiting for something “exciting” to happen…I would never do this. And I figure, I have friends and family who will probably love to keep up with me this way. And if none of that is true…at least my mom will read my blog…
Today I begin!

I decided my first post should be a little background about myself. Just in case someone who doesn’t know me stumbles here by accident. I just recently moved to Nashville from Oklahoma. I had lived there all my life. My family still lives there and I hate that they are so far away. I am a school teacher for Metro Nashville. I teach Family and Consumer Sciences, Nutrition, and Economics. I love my students and I love what I do. Who knew this would be my dream job? I can’t imagine loving my work anymore than I do right now. That being said, I started a new job this week. I married Matthew Costner just a few days ago. I am a wife. Actually, I am a pastor’s wife. (Yeah, I know…me?!?) I’m sure that’s an adventure that I will write about often. If there is anything else you want to know about me, send me a message and I would love to share!

So basically this blog will just be about my life, my marriage, and my ministry experiences. My hope is that I can find and relate to other people in similar situations. Life is more fun when we live it together!

Found you via your husband via twitter - I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the club; the pastor's wives club, that is. I'm a new member myself (less than 6wks!) and I'm living in a new area myself. Just thought I'd say hello- I tried to leave a msg earler, but it came from my work blog; not sure if it'll work right the second time, but I'll just leave it @ whatever it goes with. I hope you are loving & enjoying married life- congrats :)
